In April 2016 He Knows She Knows was born, an Urban Pop Duo made up of Rapper/Producer Silvar Laidlow and Lead Vocalist Sharna Laidlow.

 

They hit the headlines for getting engaged after a performance on prime time television. The footage of their performance and engagement has amassed over 30,000,000 views worldwide across social media platforms and gained them a following from around the world. The Pair went on to win the 2016 Ubeat Music Award for their Debut single “Right Now” racking up over 25,000 YouTube Views and cementing themselves in the regions music scene.

 

As 2017 began the duo signed a deal with tour bookers The I-stage Group and organised their 1st tour throughout the UK doing holiday destinations and gaining a following amongst old and young audiences. They have played a number of Festivals ie Northern Pride Festival, Tall Ships, Sunderland Air Show alongside playing at some very prestigious Charity Balls (Red Sky Ball, Sunderland),(King Hearts Give Back, Leeds).

 

2018 began strong with their pairs most successful release to date, sampling Puff Daddy the pair put a twist on a classic and gained 75,000 streams in the process and 76,000 Youtube Views. The story tells the tale of the passing on Silvar’s Mum and has been able to help many through there similar difficult situation. Again a 2nd UK tour was organised, this time 128 dates. The duo completed the mammoth tour whilst also getting radio support from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and many more. Their Debut Ep “Light It Up” was released. The years ending was very bittersweet, the pair SOLD OUT The O2 Academy Newcastle but 2 days prior to the show Silvar’s Father Passed Away. Albeit the duo took to the stage and gave an emotional performance to an elated audience.

 

2019 Saw the duo win Best Band/Vocal Group at the 2019 National Entertainment Awards alongside taking the brand to new territory, touring Japan and performing at the prestigious Kansai Music Conference. The Duo Also began a new partnership with youtube allowing them access to all their facilities worldwide.

 

As we all know 2020 was not the best year for musicians but this didn't stop He knows she knows from progressing with Sharna becoming the 2020 uk karaoke champion going on to represent the uk at the world championships all from the comfort of there living room. they later took on tiktok and made a huge splash on the platform gaining 50,000 followers in just 2 months receiving millions of vies in the process.

The pair didn't stop there taking home the best original artist award in both 2020 and 2021 at the National Entertainment awards. there debut album is due for release in early 2022 but some songs released as single have already gained millions of social media views, promising to make 2022 the best year yet for the pair.
